Every platform, host, registrar and search engine applies its own rules, review queues and appeal processes, and some removals need a court order. T4 / Questions

Before you file.

Still unsure whether your case qualifies? Talk to our team before filing.

How long does a takedown take?
It depends on the platform and the type of content. Copyright and impersonation reports are often decided within days; defamation and search de-indexing can take several weeks, and some cases need a court order. Each platform applies its own rules and timescales, and we keep you updated throughout.
Can you guarantee removal?
No one can honestly guarantee removal. Platforms, hosts and search engines make the final decision under their own policies and the law. We only accept cases with genuine grounds, and our job is to present them as strongly and correctly as possible.
What does the fee cover?
Assessment by a specialist, preparation of the notices, filing with every relevant platform for the links included, follow-up and escalation, and a closing report. Court proceedings and lawyers’ fees, where needed, are quoted separately and only with your approval.
What if you decline my case?
If we decline your case because there is no lawful basis for removal, your payment is refunded in full.
Will the person who posted it know it was me?
Some legal notices — copyright notices in particular — must include the rights holder’s details, and platforms may pass these to the uploader. We explain this before filing and use an authorised agent or company name where the law allows.
Can you remove negative reviews or news articles?
Only where they break the law or the platform’s rules — for example, fake reviews, defamatory claims or exposed personal data. We do not remove genuine reviews, fair criticism or lawful journalism.
What if the content involves a child?
Do not file it here and do not share or copy the content. Report it immediately to the Internet Watch Foundation (report.iwf.org.uk), the NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) or your local police.
Intimate images were shared without my consent. What can I do right now?
You can file with us confidentially, and you can also use StopNCII.org, a free service that helps stop intimate images being shared on participating platforms. If you are being threatened or blackmailed, contact the police.
